Liberty High School will host their Tony Munson Cross Country Invitational meet and cordially invites your team(s). Last year there were over 1000 runners and we look forward to even more this year.
Date: Saturday September 30, 2017
Place: Liberty Municipal Park
Course: Our course is a spectator and coach friendly course which allows for easy mile and split timing and gives parents an opportunity to watch their athlete(s) compete.
Time: 7:00 AM Check-In and walk the course
8:00 AM 4A and under Varsity Boys 5000M
8:30 AM 5A /6A Varsity Boys 5000M
9:00 AM 4A and under Varsity Girls 3200M
9:30 AM 5A /6A Varsity Girls 5000M
10:00 AM J.V. Boys All Level 5000M
10:30 AM J.V. Girls All Level 3200M
11:00 AM J.H. Boys 3200M
11:30 AM J.H. Girls 3200M
Starting times are estimated and the next race will begin as soon as the preceding race and medals have been awarded.
Cost: 60.00 for each Varsity team
50.00 for each Junior High team
10.00 for any individual runners not on a team
No Charge for JV, but a Varsity team of 7 must be entered for a JV team to compete
Checks should be made out to Liberty ISD and can be mailed prior to the meet or given at check in.
Awards: Awards will be given immediately following the completion of each division.
- Medals will be awarded to the top 20 individuals in ALL divisions
- Top 2 teams in each Varsity division will receive a plaque
- Top Junior High team will receive a plaque
